Taken by Gorka Rubio during our last gig at the culture centre of a town called Zarautz in the Gipuzkoa region of Euskal Herria. I would like to thank everyone for the warmest of welcomes, Eskerrik asko. We have so much to learn from Basque culture, the hospitality there can be somewhat embarrassing at times. If you visit Euskal Herria, or Catalunya remember this - they aren't Spain!!

This was the second time we played in Zarautz, the last time was in April. It's a unique venue, a traditional Basque social/cultural club where people can eat, drink, socialise discuss or debate various local, national or international topics. Political developments in Ireland and the Basque country being high on the agenda during our visit.

This was taken by Iban (I think!) in the Bizkaia region of Euskal Herria. After a succesful gig, I attempted to play the TXALAPARTA (Pronounced 'Chalaparta'), a traditional Basque instrument, I think I'll need more practice, there's hope yet!
